Horned Lizard is the Early Access poster beast for readable power — and the first subject of Grove Street’s Meet the Beasts developer series. Official writeups frame her as a fierce, spike-covered kaiju inspired by the real animal’s natural armor and bizarre eye-defense trait, then pushed into bipedal battlefield form with laser beams instead of blood spray.
Playstyle identity
Lean mid-close. Use beams to punish kiting vehicles and melt structures that block your advance. Use tail sweeps when humans or rival Beasts crowd your feet. Camouflage is not only an assassin button — it is also how you break line of sight after a greedy dive, reposition, feed, and re-enter from a worse angle for the enemy.
