Mandrill is motion as a weapon. Grove Street’s Meet the Beasts Steam notes cast him as a warning about mankind’s conflict with nature: extraordinary mutations, regenerative bone attacks, and an enraging buff scream that accelerates abilities into a “super-Mandrill” speed window. If Horned Lizard is a siege engine, Mandrill is a riot.

Playstyle identity

Enter sideways. Create confusion, delete a key target, leave before the entire lobby hard-focuses you. Mandrill rewards players who already understand map rhythm and hate standing still inside beam contests.

Strengths and failure modes

Strength: punishing disorganised teams and converting scream windows into multi-kill chaos. Failure mode: choreographing your own death by overstaying after the buff fades. Use camouflage-of-motion — broken sightlines via destruction — instead of pure ego.

Controls reminder

Beast inputs are their own layer. Drill them in Beast Controls before you blame the kit. Humans and vehicles still decide whether your transform is supported — see Human Controls and Vehicle Controls.

Every Beast is secretly a demolition class. Pair your kit with SuperDestruction Guide and Destruction Strategy. Cities that still look pristine usually mean your team is underusing power.
