Vampire Bat Guide

Vampire Bat is the vertical specialist in the launch four. While lizards and apes argue over street grade, Bat asks whether your squad ever looked up. In cities with tall remains and partial collapses, Bat turns altitude into information and dive angles.

Playstyle identity

Play the Z-axis. Use height to spot Serum fights, descending only when a commit is real. Bat players who live permanently on the ground surrender their identity; Bat players who never touch objectives surrender the match.

Strengths and failure modes

Strength: unpredictability and scout value. Failure mode: isolated dives into focused flak from vehicles and anti-air minded humans. Coordinate with ground allies so your dive is a sentence, not a suicide note.

Openers

Link, gain height, call a target, dive with a structure collapse that removes their cover as you arrive. In Arena, threaten backline vehicles first when they are solo peelling badly.

How you unlock the fantasy mid-match

Earn Serum, then BeastLink when the window is clean. Refresh How to Get Serum and How to BeastLink if you keep transforming into focus fire.

Controls reminder

Beast inputs are their own layer. Drill them in Beast Controls before you blame the kit. Humans and vehicles still decide whether your transform is supported — see Human Controls and Vehicle Controls.

Terrain synergy

Every Beast is secretly a demolition class. Pair your kit with SuperDestruction Guide and Destruction Strategy. Cities that still look pristine usually mean your team is underusing power.

Mode tips

In Convergence, play the encounter script. In Battle Arena, assume you are the priority target the moment you Link. Escape tools and peels matter as much as highlight damage.

Sibling study

Compare against the rest of the roster via Beast Comparison, the Beast Tier List, and the Beast Compare Tool. Then return to the Beasts Hub for the full launch four.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers grounded in what BeastLink players ask most.

Is Vampire Bat hard to learn?

Moderately. The kit fantasy is clear, but vertical discipline takes reps.

Does Bat work in Convergence?

Yes — aerial reads help the squad track hazards and priority monsters.

What counters Bat at a high level?

Teams that assign vehicle attention upward and refuse to clump under obvious dive lanes.
