BeastLink Beast Tier List

Tier lists for a pre- and early-launch kaiju game are hypotheses with structure, not scripture. BeastLink Early Access will tune human anti-Beast tools, vehicle pressure, and kaiju kits rapidly. Use this page as a starting draft for August 2026, then challenge it with your own lobby data.

Ranking criteria

We weigh: beginner readability, transform payoff, map impact via SuperDestruction, and flexibility across Convergence and Battle Arena. We do not invent secret damage numbers. When in doubt, prefer kits with clear telegraphs and strong terrain answers.

Current draft tiers

S — Reliable first mains: Horned Lizard for brute clarity, beams, camouflage utility, and building pressure. A — High ceiling skirmishers: Mandrill when you can manage speed without overdiving. A/B — Vertical specialists: Vampire Bat rewards aerial reads and punishes teams that never look up. B — Commitment hunters: Bull Shark thrives when you know when to end chases inside ruined streets.

Why Lizard leads the draft

Public ability chatter around eye beams, tail sweeps, camouflage, and unlockable tongue/kick/spit tools gives Lizard a complete vocabulary for both PvE and PvP. Beginners can see what each button is for. That matters more on day three of Early Access than theoretical optimal DPS.

Why Mandrill sits high

Speed and disorientation punish shaky aim and late peels. Mandrill rewards players who already understand How to BeastLink timing. If you transform into Mandrill and sprint blind, you will feed; if you transform with a plan, you will dismantle backlines.

Bat and Shark placement logic

Bat’s aerial fantasy is powerful in cities with tall remains, but team coordination must track altitude. Shark’s aggression is devastating when the ground game funnels prey into kill corridors created by Destruction Strategy. Both climb the list in lobbies that refuse to adapt.

Mode-specific modifiers

Convergence may elevate whichever Beast deletes objectives cleanly. Arena elevates Beasts that escape focus fire. Re-score the list after patches rather than screenshotting this page forever. Cross-check identity pairs in Beast Comparison and the Beast Compare Tool.

How to use a tier list without becoming dogmatic

Main a comfort Beast before you chase tier labels. Lab one counter pick. Watch whether your deaths are kit issues or Serum economy issues. Most “my Beast is bad” complaints are mistimed Links. Return to the Beasts Hub for roster overviews and Beast Controls if inputs are the real bottleneck.

Track balance conversation beside Early Access Overview and patch notes on the Updates Hub. When new Beasts arrive on the road to eight, this page should be rewritten, not footnoted.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers grounded in what BeastLink players ask most.

What is the best Beast in BeastLink?

For Early Access learning, Horned Lizard is the safest high-impact starter; the live best pick will shift with patches and modes.

Is this tier list final?

No. It is a draft for launch-window thinking and will need updates throughout Early Access.

Should I only play S-tier?

No. Comfort and role fit beat forcing a kit you hate. Use the list as a suggestion, not a prison.

Where do I read full kit notes?

Open each Beast page linked above, then Beast Comparison for side-by-side roles.
